SITRAP Employee March-June

Tin has been employed at SITRAP - Centre for Integrated and Transdisciplinary Teaching in Planning at NMBU. The main goal of this employment is to promote SITRAP’s 2025 survey is to map competence and learning within Norway’s spatial planning field. The aim is to better understand who works with planning under the Planning and Building Act, their educational backgrounds, and how they learn through practice.

The 2025 survey targets professionals across both public and private sectors, at local, regional, and national levels. It contains 20 questions and is conducted anonymously via Nettskjema. The responses will contribute to developing a didactics for spatial planning. To ensure broad participation, we encourage participants to share the survey link within their networks. The survey is open for two months from its launch.

SITRAP – the Centre for Integrated and Transdisciplinary Teaching in Planning at NMBU – is Norway’s first Centre for Excellence in Education in spatial planning. Based at the Faculty of Landscape and Society, it advances innovative, practice-oriented teaching across urban planning, landscape architecture, and property development. SITRAP promotes active learning, collaboration with real-world professionals, and interdisciplinary approaches to complex societal challenges like sustainability and climate change. Through case-based learning, digital tools, and national outreach, the centre enhances both student engagement and educational quality. SITRAP also serves as a national resource for improving planning education across institutions in Norway.
