CSO - Projects lecture 2.0

Tin returns with a second rendition of his “Projects” lecture at CityStudio Oslo. The aim of the lecture is to understand the conceptual and creative parts of projects. The basis of this lecture is based on 6 years of experience on competitions, parallel commissions and different conceptual projects for private and public stakeholders.

Through approx. 15+ projects, Tin went through the topics of creativity/deadlines, CSO requirements, the written project, team work, the secret sauce, and an assignment. Some of the topics that was discussed was interpretation of the brief, creative approaches, personal/ethical convictions, moral dilemmas. Edda Fuhr, CSO student assistent and alumni also presented her own CSO project and experiences. The assignment or workshop followed a framework of 5 key points:

  1. the brief

  2. angle

  3. approach

  4. production

  5. ulterior motive

NOTE! These 5 key points will be revised on the basis of student feedback!
