Together with Chiara Tagliaro, Olli Vigren, Toomaj Ghalandar, Tin facilitated workshop Toward Digital Future, at the EuroFM Conference. EuroFM aims to promote and advance the field of facility management twhrough collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities. Tin’s table (1 out of 3), Standardisation and need for scaling-up, was the most participated on out of the three.

The three tables at the workshop were:

  1. Taxonomy and classification of digital applications (Olli).

  2. Positive and negative effects of digitalisation (Toomaj).

  3. Standardization and need for scaling-up (Tin).

Without disclosing too much, 7 participants attended Tin’s table with discussions ranging from lag in standardisation, interoperability issues, nature of FM being a lesser service industry etc. The workshop was summarised in a roundtable talk with Chiara facilitating the whole thing. All findings and conclusions has been retracted pending a potential paper opportunity.

Other than this, Tin did enjoy the companionship of researchers from all over Europe, especially the ones facilitating the workshop.
