Joining a Scientific Network

Tin was appointed as the Norwegian Management Committee (MC) member of the scientific network CA18214, the other two being Mina di Marino and Hossein Chavoshi from NMBU. CA18214 The Geography of New Working Spaces and the Impact on the Periphery is a EU-funded scientific network (COST Action) that aims at better understanding of new workplaces and its effects on society. The network goes across 27 nations, ongoing between 2019-2023. The workshop in Milan marks the second meeting. CA18214 is a part of the EU-funded programme The European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), which was founded in 1971.

He was among the few non-academics in the network, as the choice was based on his industry intel on different types of workspaces in Norway, and of course, his award winning master thesis from 2016, Coworking Spaces. Fun fact: One of the leading members of this network Bruno Moriset, was also the one crucial literary reference in Tin’s master thesis as he was among the first prolific academians to write about the subject as far back as 2013.
